A good rare York silver fish slice in fiddle pattern with a lovely patterned pierced blade. Made of good gauge quality silver. Good clear hallmarks. Made by James Barber and William North and hallmarked in 1837. It bears a griffin/dragon's head engraving on the terminal of the handle.
