Silver old English pattern dessert spoon by York silversmiths John Hampston, John Prince, Robert Cattle & George Cattle I and hallmarked in York in 1799. It is made of a very thick gauge silver and is of excellent quality.
The spoon is in good antique condition with a lovely antique patina. It has not been over polished and has a lovely set of crisp clear hallmarks. It bears an heraldic motif to the finial. Excellent set of hallmarks.
The spoon weighs 59 grams and is 18 cms long.
