Victorian Ornate Silver heater Sm Drew & Sons 1895
- Ornate Victorian silver dressing table heater usually used for heating curling tongs. The heater is made of fine quality repousee and chased silver which has been done to a very high standard.
The hinged lid opens and the opening clip is used to support the lid of the case when fully opened up. The encased heater can then be uncapped using a screw mechanism which is in perfect condition. When removed the cap reveals the two heating wicks which appear to be unused and original, in fact the heater appears unused.
Overall excellent condition with clear crisp hallmarks on each component. Made and retailed by Samuel Drew and Sons of Piccadilly London 1895

The heater measures 19 cms long when open, 9.5 cms when closed, 4 cms high when closed
