  • Victorian silver christening mug with fine embossing and chasing reflecting high Victorian taste with flowers leaves and branches.It has a vacant cartouche to the front so that it can be engraved with personalised initials. The foot has a fine reeded decoration from the stem of the mug to the outer rim which is of an undulating design.

    Excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the side hallmarked in London in 1854 made by James Charles Edington who was a Soho based silversmith working in Leicester Square between 1837 to 1862. He was a chief manufacturer for Green, Ward and Green retailers of gold, silver and jewellery in Cockspur St, London.a
