A lovely pre WWI silver purse or wallet with pencil and original leather liner containing a dance card or aide memoire, stamp, card & other sleeves. It has its original calf skin interior in good condition.
The purse has been attractively engine turned with fine design and is fitted with a chain to put over your arm and also a finger loop.
The dance card/ aide memoire has been written on and this can be wiped clean with a cloth. The clasp and hinge work like new. Excellent hallmarks for Birmingham 1912 with the makers mark for Charles S Green & Co Ltd. There is a cartouche to the front of the purse inscribed with initials in script.

Condition: In excellent antique condition commensurate with its age and very light usage. The liner and pencil are all in good condition. It still retains its original liner in good condition with few marks and light stains. Silver in good condition with some surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There are no dark areas on the silver, the ones in the photographs are reflected light only. No repairs etc. Good hallmarks. Please see photographs.
