Excellent silver tongs made by Josh Williams (George Maudsley Jackson) and hallmarked in London in 1884 in Queens pattern.
Silver tongs Queens pattern London 1884
Victorian Queens pattern sugar tongs made of a thick gauge silver in very good condition with excellent hallmarks for London 1884. Made by Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson) a Bristol based silversmith company.
The tongs are very good quality. They have not had initials engraved on them and have no bruises or creases on the bow part which can be a problem with some tongs. Can be used for sugar or would make excellent ice tongs.
