Silver tongs Kings pattern London 1870 Henry Holland
Victorian Kings pattern sugar tongs made of a thick gauge silver in very good condition with excellent hallmarks for London 1870. Made by Henry Holland (of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater).
The tongs are very good quality. They have initials engraved on the bow itself in flowing script which appears to read MH. There are no bruises or creases on the bow part which can be a problem with some tongs. Can be used for sugar or would make excellent ice tongs.
They measure approx 15cms long and weigh 72 Grams.
