Silver Tea Set by Arts and Crafts Silversmith A E Jones Birmingham 1919
A superb tea set comprising Tea pot, milk/cream jug and sugar bowl by the highly sought after Arts and Crafts silversmith A E Jones of Birmingham. The set is hallmarked for Birmingham 1919.
The set has a subtle hammered or planished finish and all three pieces have a simple decoration around the middle with embossed rondel in a typical arts and crafts design. Each part of the set sits on ball feet.
The set weighs approximately 555 grams (approximately 17.9 Troy Ounces) in total including the fruit wood handles. The tea pot stands at around 12 cms high and 24 from spout to end of handle
Condition: In excellent condition with crisp clear hallmarks. The planishing marks are clear and have not been over polished. Please see photographs.
