Lovely silver monteith bowl of smaller proportions hallmarked in Sheffield in 1909. Standing on a pedestal foot the body of this monteith bowl has chased fluted decoration below an inverted scalloped decorated border. There are two decorative handles. Clearly hallmarked near the rim and also marked on each handle.
The bowl is made of a good gauge silver.
As well as the hallmarks it carries the design number H7436 on the base.
