Silver Military Trophy York and Lancaster Regiment Hallmarked 1924
A good sized military silver trophy bearing the regimental crest for the York and Lancaster Regiment. Hallmarked in London in 1924 and made by Blackmore and Fletcher Ltd of Oxford St London. It is also stamped on the base Phillips Aldershot.
The regimental crest is on one side of the trophy and on the other a vertical line has been engraved into the bowl possibly in anticipation of the names of those to be awarded the trophy.
A lovely military trophy in good condition.

Condition: In good antique condition commensurate with age and normal usage. No dings dents or repairs. Stands well - no wobble. Hallmarks slightly rubbed from cleaning/polishing but still legible.
