Silver Guilloche enamel rouge compact Henry Clifford Davis Birmingham 1926
A Guilloche enamel silver compact or vanity box with mirror made by Henry Clifford Davis and hallmarked in Birmingham in 1926. The enamel is a lovely mint green. The compact contains a aliminium bowl which can be removed easily - probably for the rouge - powder - lip gloss etc. The inside of the compact itself is beautifully gilded to protect it from the cosmetics.
The enamel is in very good condition with one very small scratch. There are some minor surface marks to the silver which are photographed but are very much in keeping with the compacts age and usage and are not detrimental.
