Arts and Crafts belt buckle in silver and vivid enamels from the CYMRIC range of Liberty and Co hallmarked in London in 1903. Beautifully worked with exaggerated hammer marks on the front of the belt to emphasis the Arts and Craft design. The enamelling is mainly blues and greens highlighted with some yellow and red. The enamelling appears to be in original condition.

Stamped with the CYMRIC range mark which was the range of Arts and Crafts silver sold through Liberty and Co in London at the turn of the 20th Century. Most probable designed by Archibald Knox the originator, main and most prolific designer of the CYMRIC range.
