Silver belt buckle Burmese or possibly Indian, C 1910. We offer this superb antique Indian (or possibly Burmese) silver two part buckle moulded in relief on one side with a woman sitting facing away from the front and on the other side a woman in ceremonial clothing. Dating from approx 1910. Although smallish the buckle is made of heavy gauge silver. The two sections are joined by a single bar and hook with two heavy bar belt ties attached to either end. The buckle is marked silver on each part.The buckle would take an inch and a quarter belt or 3.25 cms.
