Scottish Horn Snuff Mull silver Mounts set with glass "stone" c1800 - 1820

  • A lovely Scottish horn snuff mull c1800 -  1820 with unmarked silver mounts and set to the top with a glass stone which has traces of pink/purple to it. There is a shield shaped cartouche applied to the horn at the front with initials engraved into it. The cork is still fixed to the lid. 

    11.8 cm long

    3.8 cm across the top

    Condition: Good condition commensurate with age and light/normal usage. Good sound structure. Hinge works well and it opens and closes cleanly. A good sound attractive Scottish Georgian snuff box. Please see photographs.
