Rare Sibyl Dunlop Arts and Crafts Bowl London 1921

  • Sibyl Dunlop Arts and Crafts hallmarked silver bowl. The bowl has a planished/hammered finish with 4 hand pierced and applied Celtic motifs around the belly of the bowl. Each motif is set with a small silver roundel. 

    Sibyl Dunlop (1889 - 20 December 1968) is particularly known for her jewellery and some silverware. This bowl was made in 1921 when she was at the height of her popularity and when she was based in her workshop studios in Kensington, London.


    The bowl is 5.5 cms high and 9 cms wide and weighs approximately 103 grams. It is in good antique condition commensurate with its age and usage. It has the usual light surface marks and scratches.
