- Thomas de Gruchy was born 1776 and died 1846. he was active from 1822 and in partnership with John le Gallais from 1831. The spoons are both in very good condition; one has hardly any tip wear at all.
The finial on one is engraved with initials and Juin 24, 1832 and the other with initials and the date Dec 31 1833. These may be marriage or christening spoons.
