Pair Imperial Russian Silver Napkin Rings c1908
Pair of Russian silver napkin rings made by Mattey Lombardo Moscow 1908, towards the end of the Russian Imperial era.
The pair carry the Russian standard mark Kokoshnik for the Moscow assay office for the 1908-1917 period. Lombardo retailed in Moscow until 1908, so we believe this piece to be from 1908.
The pair are designed as different scrolling initials: one being a J or possibly an S the other possibly a G or even an R.
They measureapproximately 5.5 cms across.
