An Antique Georgian pair of Sterling Silver pair of knife rests, with traditional cast Jack-style rest ends, and plain round central struts. Made by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard I and hallmarked in London in 1809.

Condition. In good antique condition commensurate with age and normal usage. The hallmark on one is legible considering its position on the narrow cross part but on the other it is well rubbed through polishing.
