Silver topped crystal glass trinket box. Perfect for putting rings in or for things like cotton wool buds etc. A lovely Chester silver lid by Nathan And Hayes, hallmarked in Chester in 1901. The Silver has been chased and embellished with foliate and acorn adornments. The lid is lightly gilded on the inside. The glass itself is original, elegant and a simple rectangular shape with rounded corners and has no chips or cracks. The glass base has a slightly flared design being slightly broader at the bottom.
