Substantial and heavy gauge quality salt spoon with gilded bowl by John and Henry Lias hallmarked in London in 1839. The spoon is quite ladle shaped in design and carries the Kings Pattern shells and swags to both the front and rear ie "double struck". Excellent condition with a good sturdy feel being made of heavy gauge silver.
