Good quality Victorian silver pedestal bowl Sheffield 1899
A nice quality silver tazza bowl useful for bread or fruit and would make a lovely centre piece to be left on the dining table. It is relatively plain for a Victorian piece with a lovely pierced border adjacent to the pie crust rim. The bowl is supported by an elegant sweeping stem which sits on a round graduated foot. The hallmarks are crisp and clear. It measures 11 cms high and is 21 cms across. It weighs 468 grams.
