Beautiful butternut coloured amber cheroot holder with gold mouth piece hall marked for 9ct gold 1901. It comes together with what we believe to be its original silver case which is richly engraved with a foliate pattern. The case has the initials JFK or JRK in elaborate script in a shield shaped cartouche. The case is gilded on the inside.
Both pieces have been hallmarked in Birmingham , the cheroot holder in 1901 and the case in 1902. They are both made by George Loveridge. The cheroot holder is 6 cms long and just under 2 cms across the end. The case in which it fits perfectly is overall 7cms long.
