Excellent good sized silver salt spoon, hallmarked in Newcastle in 1836 and made by the famous Newcastle Reid family, and on this occasion by Christian Ker Reid, David Reid and Christian Bruce Reid. The spoon has a lovely gilded bowl to protect the silver from the salt or other substances. A good solid spoon in good gauge silver.
Nice patina and clear hallmarks this spoon is in Fiddle pattern.
