A Georgian silver circular patch box made by John Thornton and hallmarked in Birmingham in 1800. Both the body of the box and its push on lid have a reeded pattern. Hallmarks on the edge of the body - none found on the lid. Some age related marks to the inside of the box. Overall in decent - good antique condition commensurate with age and light usage.
