A well marked silver trefid spoon with rat tail and scratched initials to the reverse of the terminal made by Lawrence Cole and hallmarked in London in 1689.

Very well marked William and Mary Trefid silver Spoon by Lawrence Cole hallmarked in London 1689. Oval bowl with plain rat tail. The scratch initials I*M can be found on the reverse of the terminal.
The spoon measures 20 cms and weighs 48 grams.
In good condition commensurate with age and light/normal usage. Some wear to RH tip area through normal usage. Good hallmarks.
