Early Chinese silver pepper or pounce pot by Cumshing 1780 - 1820. The pot depicts a dragon holding the "Pearl of Wisdom"; the pearl being the top of the pot. The detail on the dragon is excellent. The pot has a very nice patina. The top screws off with a well made threaded system which is in excellent condition.
The bottom of the pot has some shallow dents which are not visible when placed on a surface(please see photograph)
