  • Tibetan bronze statue of Manjushri in the seated position with gilding. Late 19th century. This is a meditation deity.

    This depiction represents one of the early forms of Manjushri, with two arms holding a sword or Khadaga in his right hand. Manjushri is considered to be a "would be" Buddha or Boddhisattvas.

    Measuring just over 15cms high and weighs 446 grams.
