This is a very pretty Art Nouveau cream jug by Edward Souter Barnsley hallmarked in Birmingham in 1915 with a pierced border around the rim of the jug, and shield shaped panels to the side of the jug. It is of a bulbous form with a sweeping stem leading to a round foot. The hallmarks are in good condition. An overall very attractive stylish Art Nouveau jug in good condition. It measures 13cm across including handle and 13 cms high. It weighs 220 grams.
Condition. Excellent antique condition commensurate with age and light usage. Good hallmarks.
