American Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoons Hyperion by Whiting C1888
Set of six American silver sterling silver spoons by Whiting in the Hyperion pattern. The handle has elaborate fruiting vines surrounding a vacant cartouche ending in a shell design on the terminal. The bowls are reeded. The bowls have been gold washed and this has partly worn away or faded to the rear of the bowls.
Each spoon is hallmarked on the rear at the base of the handle where it joins the bowl, Good clear hallmarks.

Weight: 59 grams altogether for the 6 spoons
Condition:In good antique condition commensurate with age and light to normal usage. The gold wash to the back has faded somewhat.
